So long, farewell . . .

Shelley's mom here speaking:  Shelley was set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Tuesday, June 17th, by Stake President Ross, on the eve of her flight to Manchester, England.  She will study German at the Preston England MTC (Missionary Training Center) for six weeks before flying to Munich, Germany.

Shelley ready to serve!

The next day, Wednesday the 18th, we went to the Kansas City airport for her flight to Atlanta, where she would meet up with a group of missionaries to fly to Manchester.  I accidentally grabbed the wrong bag getting out of the car, so did not have my good camera to take pictures (sorry!).  Shelley took some family pictures which we will post later this week.  I did take one picture with my phone after she had gone through security.

Our last glimpse of Shelley!

This picture was taken through the glass as she waited for her flight.  This was the last live moment we had with her until December 2015!
